Traveling Trunks

The Marietta History Center offers a variety of traveling trunks available for rental. The trunks are great for schools, scout groups, assisted living facilities and libraries! Each trunk features a different theme with original and reproduction items.

The trunks can be rented for a small fee for up to two weeks. The trunks need to be reserved in advanced and then picked up at the Museum during business hours.

Cost:
$50 for a one week rental that includes a $25 refundable deposit.
$100 for a two week rental that includes a $50 refundable deposit.

Refundable deposits will be given after the trunk has been inventoried by MHC staff after its return. Missing or broken artifacts or trunk may mean the forfeit of the deposit.

The MHC also offers Hands on History programs if you are looking for a program with a staff person on site.
