Research Resources

The Marietta History Center (MHC) has a variety of resources available to the public. Our team is currently focusing on essential collections care and preservation, which prevents us from fulfilling remote research requests. We welcome researchers to visit us in person; please request an appointment by filling out the form, and our staff will have your requested items ready upon arrival.

Research Resources Available:

  • Research Files

  • Photographs

  • Community Scrapbooks

  • Videos (via YouTube)

  • Reference Books

  • For our online artifact collection

Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. This allows MHC Staff to pull the requested material. Please note if the MHC does not have anything related to the requested topic, staff will email you as quickly as possible.
