Is there a fee for the festival? No. Admission is free.

 

Where should I park? In addition to curbside parking, there are flat lot parking spaces at the corner of Mill Street and Marietta Parkway. There is also a free parking garage just off the Marietta Square on Cherokee Street beside the Bank of America. Entrance to the garage faces the opposite side on Waddell Street.

 

How many antique vendors will be there? There will be approximately 50 antique vendors selling a wide variety of collectibles, glassware, furniture and other household items.

 

Will I find any art at the festival? Yes, there will be artists there as well as antique art pieces

 

Is there a Car Show at the festival? Yes, the Hubcaps and History Classic Car Show will be part of the festival from 10am-4pm (weather permitting). Winners are selected by popular vote. Come cast your vote for your favorite car!

 

Will any streets be closed? Yes, North & East Park will be closed at 5:00 am on Sept. 19th along with the parking spaces, park side on West & South Park.

 

What is the Trash or Treasure Show? The Trash or Treasure show is a booth where Mark Maxwell of the Brass Monkey will give verbal approximations of value on family heirlooms brought in by participants. The booth will be open from 11am to 2pm. (One item per household, please.)

 

Are there activities for kids? Yes, the local attractions will provide activities for children.

 

Will the Marietta Square Farmers Market be there? Yes. The Farmers Market will be there from 9am-12noon on Mill St.

 

Where can I get refreshments? There is a large selection of restaurants at a variety of price ranges on the Marietta Square available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There will also be some food available at the Marietta Square Farmers Market.

 

I sell antiques. Can I be a vendor at the festival? Call Carolyn Morris, Festival Coordinator, for information on participation at 770-592-7180.

 

I am a food vendor interested in getting booth space at the festival. How can I be involved? At this time we are not accepting any food vendors for the festival. Guests can enjoy the many restaurant options at the Square for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 

How is the Marietta Museum of History involved in the festival? The Marietta Museum of History is the organizer of the festival. As a nonprofit organization, the Museum holds this event as a fundraiser each year.

 

The Marietta Museum of History is dedicated to preserving the history of Marietta and Cobb County by providing an educational, enlightening, and engaging experience. Four galleries house exhibits on Native American culture, Marietta Commerce, Civil War history, a unique Military Gallery and more. The Museum is located just steps off the Marietta Square where visitors can browse local shops and boutiques, and pick up lunch at one of the many restaurants.
