On Saturday, October 7th, 2017, the Marietta Museum of History’s Registrar, Christa McCay, will continue her walks through the Marietta City Cemetery.  The tours provide a chance to learn more about Marietta’s constant residents through different themes.

The Marietta City Cemetery has a host of tales to tell and these guided walking tours are the best way to experience them. Theme: A 19th Century Murder will explore the tragic and strange events of the murder of Robert Duncan and the subsequent trial of Albert Lingo. The tours begin at the brick pavilion between the Confederate and City Cemeteries. Proceeds from the tours benefit the Marietta Museum of History.

When: Saturday, October 7th, 2017. Tours are held at 10:30am and 2pm.

Where: Marietta City Cemetery, 395 Powder Springs St. Marietta, GA 30064

Cost: $15 per ticket. Tours are limited to 20 people each. Tickets can be purchased at www.touchstonestothepast.eventbrite.com
