Public Safety Appreciation Week in Cobb County is October 1 through 6th and to finish out the week the Marietta Museum of History is hosting a Public Safety Vehicle Expo at the Aviation Wing  on Atlanta Road at South Cobb Drive from 10 AM until 3 PM on  Saturday, October 6th.  This event will allow the public to see some of the vehicles used by law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services up close and talk with the first responders about what they do for our community every day.  Cobb County 9-1-1 and CERT will also have booths and tables set up to provide information about the services they provide, so please come out to see the vehicles on display and meet the people who serve our community.  Blue Ridge Helicopters will also be on site providing helicopter rides for $35 per person (cash only) with a portion of the cost of the rides being donated to the Marietta Museum of History.  So bring your children, grandchildren and tell you friends about this special event.
